alright, so i took the new PCM completely out, cleaned it off a bit, and put it back in... still the same problem
so then i put the stock one back in and hoped for the best... and this is what i got:
i made it to 117189! and my gas gauge works, and my trac off light is back off... everything works! as far as i can tell. hopefully now the gas gauge doesn't read full all the time. that would suck. so i guess it looks like it's a problem with the PCM... SAD DAY!

but yeah, so no new PCM for me quite yet
