Alright one more questions and i think i got this all figured out. I have it hooked up right now at 4 ohms. Iif i was to hook it up at 2 ohms would it be louder. Dont get me wrong it pounds now, but i am a bass junkie.

Normaly yes. However, I believe your amp has a regulated power source. Meaning that it will give you 500 watts at 1.5, 2, or 4 ohm. I don't know how old your amp is. One of the main reasons I am extremely jealous of that amp. I think that two other guys have the same amp. You might try a search and pm them.

Post your sub number and the enclosure type and size. A SPL sub will require a more exact enclosure size than a cheaper SQ sub. Mike2002 and soundextreme are probably the best to ask about this.

yep I just bought the ampo a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. I am thinkin about gettin a 300/4 becuase i feel i cant go wrong with this stuff now. Opinions?

oh ya subs are 12" W3s and the enclosures are about 0.9 square feet apiece sealed.

what kind of music do you listen to? do you like flat out spl with low bass (good for rap), or a tighter fast bass (good for rock/alternative)

a ported box will give you substantially more output as far as spl goes, but they're not that great for rock alternative, if you listen to pretty much all rap, id go ported

i listen to rap/rock/alternative, so i prefer sealed. or like i have now, free-air (thats just because i didn't want a box in my trunk and the back seat is near bulletproof and absorbs alot of sound waves)
