Little exterior question
I'm lookin to do a little summer clean up. Whats the best way to take the chrome tags off? Success stories would be great.

Spray on a little goo gone....take some fishing line and use it like a saw behind them...then spray more goo gone and wipe away sticky leftovers.
DO NOT use any kind of blade...u will get scratches
Do NOT remove the olds emblem on the front...will leave the indent of it
ALso the easiest way for me to remove the sticky stuff was to take my thumb and rub against it really hard. It rolls up and comes right off.
And since you are debadging you might as well remove the door moldings....same technique as above.
GOOD LUCK!!

OK, to remove the ones from the trunk, get your floss and hair dryer, warm them up first, then use the floss to get behind the letters, they should come off easy! then use goo gone and clean the shit thats left behind. after you clean it, polish it upppp

ditto that worked for me. Except my back olds symbol must of been super glued on b/c it left some hard residue there.

heat it up with a hair dryer and then use fishing line to get it off the car, then rub the leftover glue with goo gone and it will look nice and good

Well the goo gone really did the trick. No glue was left on there and the paint was never touched...its looks great. Thanks a lot for the help.
