Headers?

Im looking for some headers for the 3400. Is APOC the only one that makes them? Has anyone bought things from APOC? If so how are the ship times and the products themselves?

APOC doesnt make headers they just sell them. APOC's customer service is excellent. His ship times vary on his suppliers more so then himself. If the parts are in you will get them within 5 days. The products he sells are high quality.

There is a second company that makes headers besides "The Other Guys (TOG's)" and they are called s & s.

People have had to wait to receive there s & s for quite a while but there has been a back up on tog's as well.

Do a search on headers Im sure a bunch of stuff will pop up.

FYI TOG has some headers in stock
after the group buy there isint much left but a few sets of nickel and a few ceramic.

S&S can only be bought directly

I just got my SS headers in today! they are so beautiful! I did waite 3 months but its gonna be worth it!

Thinking of getting headers now.. But seeing loudalero's and they r nice , i want to do S&S...

Whats the ease of installation rating on headers for the 3400? I've done headers on my other car, but never really worked on the Alero before. What needs to be removed thats in the way?

If you can weld then you can install the togs but if you cant, go with the s&s and I think that they look better than the togs because the ceramic coated togs blend right in an you cant even see em if your not lookin and i think the s&s are chrome so they will say look at me. But it took me a day and half but i was in no hurry and just took for ever to get ever thing lined up the way i wanted. But if you get the togs then let me know and I will tell ya what to take out to but other wise I am not typing it all down. Because I cant type.

the nickel plate ont eh TOG's is almost like chrome
both S&S and TOG offer ceramic

Well yes the nickel look like chrome until you run the car and then the change colors from the heat and I figured that the cermaic coating from s&s is prolly like a chrome finish not like a very dull and ugly finsh like the tog titanium ceramic coating. Even if it is better its still blah and just blends in.

TOg has a high gloss ceramic too but they went more for performance than looks
the shiney finich ceramic protect to like 1600 or so
the finish TOG has now protects to 2200
anyway
I personally like the look
its somthing differnt than what most have
and headers are for performance not looks anyway

Yeah well I understand that but if your going to do it why not have the best of both worlds and I did not know that togs had a glossy finish, I wish I had when I bought in the group buy because i would have gotten those instead of the tit. because I dont think that my engine is ever going to see 2200 hundred degrees but hell I dont even know what the temp of the exhaust on our cars is. But John I was not saying that togs are bad headers I was just stating in my opinion and that was before I knew that tog had glossy ceramic and just goes to show that I should research more before I throw in my two cents.
