Brake Issue

Latley I've been noticing when I hit my brakes a creeking sound. The sound is kind of wierd like you're opening a door on a old shed outside or something lol ....hard to explain. I inspected the rotors and pads and they seem fine. Do any of you alero mod self-proclaimed mechanics have any suggestions on what the problem may be ? any input would be greatly appreciated !!

mine makes that noise if im lightly holding the brake when its wet out

The sliders for the caliper may be sticking.

I had that too, Freakout is right.

you just need to regrease the rod

i think my old thread deserves sticky status since everyone seems to have this issue.

btw, i haven't changed my brakes since then and i still haven't touched the rears, over 3 years and counting lol
