good cheap winter tires

ok so i'm actually gonna break down this winter and buy a pair of winter grips, my front end is just sliding thourhg corners right now.
Since all my driving in the winter is under 35-40 mph, i'm looking for something with a pretty aggresive pattern and studable. This is what is looking at, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Winterforce&tireModel=M%2BS&par tnum=16SR5WFORCE&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1= yes&place=0

Anybody have any suggestions/experience with any other good ones? Thanx.

those are wicked awsome tires...my buddy has them on his corrolia and they are great. The only complaint he has is that he has a hard time doing e-brake slides lol

As long as it has the snow symbol on it, which it looks like they do, go for it. I have Cooper Weather-Master S/T 2s and they do an alright job. My next set of tires will be even softer than these Coopers.

Just put 2 on mine. There seem good so far. Ride good and no noticeable noise.
