Damnit
Was busting a U today, and just barely clipped a curb in the process, going MAYBE 2 miles an hour. Didn't think much of it until I saw plastic in the road as I glanced in my rearview mirror as I drove off.
Stopped on up the block to look underneath and the damage is absolutely ridiculous.
What appears happened, is the black plastic air dam shroud thing that goes under the wheel well all the way around to the front, got ripped out and took everything else out with it.
Fog light mount.
Cracked the fiberglass brace underneath the radiator.
Ripped the front bumper cover in 3 places on the top of the bumper cover, nowhere near to how low the curb is!!!
WTF!!!???

Thanks. 15 years of accident free driving and I've never messed up anything from going over a curb at 1 or 2 miles an hour. Thanks again.

sorry to hear that sounds like just some bad luck. Maybe you can use this as an excuse to do some paint and mod work though :<)

I'm actually thinking that it must have already been like that from before I got it.... There is no other explanation for how much damage there is.

No way. Low ground clearance was the reason this happened to begin with. I don't want to make it worse

I didn't. The front corner of the air dam thing got snagged and ripped off. The wheel of the car never touched the curb.

Crap happens when you drive a car. What you have already spent has nothing to do with it. Learn to drive safer and suck it up man. Like I said, Sorry it happened.

and you said you clipped it so one could assume you went over a curb.
