update

how's it going guys? it's been a little while since i have posted. so, i figured i'd post up an update.
so, i blew up my motor before i left for iraq. while overseas, i ordered a motor and some other goodies to be waiting for me when i got home. well, i had taken my motor to a guy to have it built, and instead he bailed on me and kept my motor.
at this point, my car is being worked on right now. i have a new motor now, and it's being installed. so, here's a list of the work that the garage is doing for me.
new motor
powdercoated idi cover, valve covers, timing chain covers
secret cams
58mm throttle body
venom fuel rail
lightweight crank pulley
gmpp supercharger
tuned ecu
lsd insert in tranny

the guy's a family friend is doing everything for a good price. should be back on the road in the next couple weeks.

well, everything's up and running! now, i just have to find my 3 bar map sensor....where the heck did i put it. lol
as far as the hood, yeah totally paintshopped it. down the road, i'll probably do something along those lines tho.
as far as the dash, i may be selling that screen setup. not sure though. it's chopped up and sems plastic welded together. a little body filler and paint. you got yourself a nice screen. any offers? lol

why are you trying to put in a 3 bar MAP sensor? you think the supercharger is going to produce over 14.7 PSI of boost? lol

there's supposed to be a cheaper alternative (like $60) but i haven't found it... Fi-Alero tried one and it's totally the wrong connector

I got my $50 MAP sensor from Advanced Auto Parts.

Autozone wanted $160 or so for the one that fits, and $60 for the one that didn't.

Part number? I thought you said it didn't fit, or was that the AutoZone part number I gave you off Aleromod Upgrades?

What didn't fit about it? Was it just that the connector wasn't keyed right? Or does yours have a micropack connector? The cheaper GM one is a weatherpack connector.

The SU1477 one posted above is the same one as on the STS. (which has 14.7 psi boost)
