yea, search. but i'll say it anyways.

the only reason you would need to buy the expensive harness is if you want to keep your door chimes. If you don't care that you have them, buy the basic cheap one.

when I ordered my radio from crutchfield they gave me the chime adapter, wire harness and mount for free with free shipping. The radio I got was only $200.

A friend just ordered one yesterday and got the same deal.

Doesnt it depend on what year it is and if it has RDS? My 2000 doesnt have RDS because its not new enough, but if it has RDS dont you have to keep the radio connected somehow due to all the settings and crap that you can change with an RDS radio?

if you have eyes then you really dont need the chimes. theyre just there for sayin HEY u left ur door open. or in case you didnt notice ur about to run out of gas. and hey u left ur key in the hole while u were in such a hurry to jump out. if u do a self check before u step out its cheaper/more effective
