I used a blow dryer to heat the matieral a little and finished removing the adhesive with alcohol and goo-gone. When you use the blow dryer be sure to keep it moving don't let it sit on one area of paint for too long u could possible mess up your paint. Keep it moving and keep it warm it should peel off real easy. Use some rubbing compound at the end to make sure its all off, buff, add a little wax and your done.

how hot is your hair dryer that it would ruin the paint? The paint is BAKED ON.

All I did to remove the pinstriping was use my finger nails, but since I bite them, I didn't have anything to use, so I used this plastic knife thing, and just start to peel it off, I didnt worry about any of the goo that is left behind until I was done, and used a little goo-gone, worked perfectly, no more pinstripe and it didn't take me more than an hour a side. Had it off for over 2 years with no problems! Goodluck!

Don't play w/ gas. WD-40 works just as good.

B-12 Chemtool worked really well for me, just apply and walk away for about 30 minutes and it will all peal off. Try to do it in hot or warm weather so the pinstriping is soft.

3M Eraser Tool

I know, old post, but I have an addition. 3M makes an "eraser tool" that you put on your drill. It's basically a rubber wheel. I watched a local body shop use one to take the stripes off an impala. Took em right off, no problem. Just needed a good wax/buff afterwards. I did a search and found some websites selling them for around $20, don't know what they would cost at an autobody store.

he`s right the eraser wheel does wonders, u wanna go old skool then you use your fingers , then use a wax and grease remover to remove any excess glue that may be remining

All I did was peal it off, took me maybe 1 min. but then again, I'm not worried about my paint, due to the horrid amount of scratches on it already. lol
