weird sounds
so when the car is running there is the sound of like someone recorded silence on a tape player coming from somewhere behind the dash....so just a fuzzy "white noise " kinda sound.. and when i turn the car off accasionally i hear the sound of like if someone tipped over a few 2 liter pop bottle so like a gurgling sound.....oh and i have a small coolent leak from somewhere i cant find... it is collecting about a foot inside the right front tire... but cant find the source..... any ideas ?? i have a possible theory but i hope its wrong...
sorry for the long post just kinda frustrated lol

This is a 99' 2.4L AT I'm guessing?
Gurgling noise sometimes comes from low coolant. Any other mechanical issues?

if its really quiet its common to hear a gurgling sound from the heater core on any vehicle if its warm like after a long trip.

maybe you have air in your system cause of the lil coolant leak.

just purge the coolant there is a little screw on top of the water pump unscrew it a little bit i belive is a 10mm socket im not shure but let it run and you'll start to hear a hissing sound which is the air in the engine well that was my best suggestion lol i also have a weird noise since i changed the alternator it sounds like it was a mini turbocharger weiiird lol
