When i had my custom exhaust done I bought an OBD-2 compatible cat from Magnaflow with an O2 sensor bung at the end of the cat, hoping to avoid any check engine lights. Of course, i still threw a CEL after a while of driving. So, my question, is there an 02 simulator i can get to just make this a quick fix? i cant seem to find one anywhere, or would i be better off buying a cheap OBD-2 reader/clearer and clearing it every 500 miles or so?

are you talking about the pre-cat sensor or the post cat sensor? I thought the sim was only for the post cat sensor? which code are you throwing? That will tell you which sensor and what the PCM "thinks" the problem is.

autozone will read that poop for free. Get it read and you will know which sensor is to blame
