Wtf?

well ive been getting the trac off, svs, and anti lock light for a few days now, and finally had some time to see if i could figure out what was up. anyway i had the car jacked up and front wheels removed. wanted to see if i could make the lights come on by moving the steering wheel around, so i started the car, and instead of doing what it normally does, the engine starts revving rly high, up to about 4k before i shut it off. i decided not to try it again, instead i just checked both harnesses to the hubs, put the wheels back on, put it back on the ground and started it again. this time it started normal, and ran like it always does. took it out for a quick drive, and the times lights would normally come on (hard right turns) nothing happened. even trying to make them come on i couldnt. so i guess i may have gotten lucky and maybe one of the harnesses was just loose, or just a bad connection or something? but what im confused about is y the engine would rev like that. i doubt it would have anything to do with the wheels being off. and it was in neutral when it was on jackstands if that makes a difference...anyone know what would make this happen? thanks

as for the engine revving...no idea...but the xmas tree currently displaying(or that was displaying) is your wheel hub...bring it to a shop and get it checked out now...when it gets worse it really sucks

Maybe cause wheels were off the ground and didn't have the weight of the car on them!!!!!

could have been a loose connection and you knocked the harness back into a firmer connection.

ya i figured it must have just been a bad connection. theres no noise coming from either side and the wires are all fine. as for the engine reving hi, i doubt it would matter that it was off the ground, cuz its been on a lift before and started and it didnt rev like that. been running fine since tho, so who knows.

dont worry, i didnt take it that way. i had thought of that too but figured since it was in neutral, theres no way it shud have had that reaction. guess ill never know.
