im looking into doing my struts and strut mount plates in the next few months.. and which would be better for the money..
i have the sprint springs already.
would the kyb gr2's or 220$ shipped
or the kyb agx adjustable ones for 448$ shipped..
also will the factory replacement strut mount plates fit on the kyb's or should i buy the kyb brand?

couldn't tell from personal experience, but it is too bad you already have springs, cuz if you are doing it all at once in price wise you near the cost of custom coilovers.....

get the AGX's theres nothing wrong with GR2's but GR2's aren't adjustable nor are they designed for lowering cars.

no Idea, I shouldn't really talk bad about the GR2's but I've already gotten a hard time for using GR2's to lower my car with cause there just a stock replacement, the biggest thing with the GR2's if you use them to lower your car then blow a strut KYB will not replace them.

I am going to attempt to replace a strut, was wondering if this strut has everything necessary to replace a strut without any extra tools other than common wrenches and sockets/ratchet. Also is this worth the money, it looked like a great deal as long as it comes assembled with everything ready to bolt in! Is there anything I should watch for to keep my original alignment? I hear grinding crunching etc when turning as well as it is pulling to the left 70% of the time.

^100% yes. its a 10 min job with those, i've used them to replace both my fronts. your stock alignment is just fine. you can replace with just basic wrenches, but you should have your wheels torqued correctly to 100 ft/lbs soon after you put them back on. your sound and pull seems exactly like a broken left front spring, that also happened to me.

AGX's do not adjust ride height, just stiffness. If you are looking to lower a car on the cheap gr2's are plenty good. If you want a vehicle that handles exceptionally well pay for the AGX's, they are worth it.
