Talking about exhaust sizes. IVe heard 2.5" pipng is an ideal size for performance in aleros. Does this apply to just the 3.4 or all 3 engines?

probably most likely cause it will be less restrictive, I didn't get it on my car cause I didn't want to be obnoxiously loud like my friend and his G5.

I was actually wondering this because I thought it was weird that the ideal sizing for three diifferent engines of different displacements is the same.

I've got a 2.25" Cherry bomb vortex on my 3400 alero. It isn't as loud as what I would have liked, due to the lower displacement, than a cherry bomb muffler is usually used for, but it definitely gave it a throatier sound that the car didn't have before hand.
