tail lights

ok i had a weird day dream while i was at lunch and woundered if anyone has done this. Ok you have the rear tail lights fogged correct? Ie tinted, or capped so they are black, i was woundering if anyone has thought about carving out the name ALERO on the tint so that its clear and or the Olds symbol. Was just woundering if anyone else thought about it, i saw a dodge 1500 with kinda what i was thinking about with the Dodge ram symbol. I know its weird and random just wanted feed back etcs. and or Ideas.

i think it would be a little much, w/ ALERO already in the middle of the trunk. you really want it to say it 3 times just on the back of the car?

some people have done the olds logo.... but meh. i'm not a fan.

"to each their own" applies here.

I have never been a fan of advertising the name or logo more. I removed all the badges for a reason. Looks cleaner that way. I think less is more fits this situation IMO.

You should keep the Alero badge and also get the Alero third brake light overlay, that way when you hit the brake it'll look like this:

Alero

Alero______Alero______Alero

I had the Olds logo in the reverse lights, then I tinted the entire bottom row with no overlays. so now you can only see the olds logo when I'm in reverse.I've tried taking pics of it, but it just doesn't turn out right on camera. It does look nice in person.

I have a good idea for you. Get some transparent red paint and paint over the turn signals, so the entire lens is red besides the reverse light. Then tint the whole taillight lens, not black, but a nice dark red. Then tint the 3rd brake light to match. It'll look really nice

Like this

It's not my car. Someone posted that picture on here a few years ago.

You spray transparent red over the turn signal...leave the reverse light clear. Then you get spray tint, like VHT Nightshades, it's transparent black, not dark red. You spray 2-3 light coats on all four taillight lenses, enough so it turns to a nice, dark red like in that picture, but not so much that it makes the whole lens black.
