CD Player help

Ok, ill give you a background on what has been happening with my cd player.
1. i replaced the original CD player with a dual from walmart ( i bought it because it was my first time tinkering with my car and i didnt want to break it and have alot of money lost. also my brother n law who works on audio helped me install)
2. four months go by and suddenly when i turn the car on the cd player wont turn on, yet when i turn the key to acc. it turns on.
3. cd player brakes, i replace it with a pioneer cd player http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...rs/DEH-P4100UB thats the cd player
4. Everything worked fine till recently the cd player again wouldnt randomly turn on when i turned the car on, yet still worked when the key was engaged in Acc.

Basicly thats the story, and because im not experianced as much compared to alot of you guys, i just want suggestions on what the problem could be.

Thats odd. Did you check the fuse in the panel for radio?

You probably have a bad connections on the wires.

ryan thats what i thought also, but the radio turns on all the time when the key is in accesory mode, but ill check them again tomorrow too, AGT, no i didnt check fuses, ill do that also. thanks so far

Pardon the overly dumb answer, but how did you do the connections? Did you use a harness or were you back there cutting, splicing, taping, and or sauldering shit into place?

ok, well im goin to work in a few so ill check the crimps n everything tomorrow, hopefully its an easy fix, instead of my car just not likeing cd players lols.
