footwell lamps???

i'm really confused about this... there is a lamp in my car that illuminates the gas and brake pedal. is this standard or part of the footwell lamp option?

if so can someone PLEASE show me the location of all of the lights so i can replace them?

Alero is a little different from my old grand am but...the 99&00 grand am has foot lights, but the 01+ did not have them. Their should be one on each side.

01 Grand am and alero don't have them. But they will soon

bahaha really? didnt even know that cubby was supposed to have a light. i guess that explains why its just hanging there on a wire...

*edit* just went and fixed it xD

although i might want to use it as a footwell light, i just need a new bulb for it

What your gonna want to do if you want footwell lights that only switch on when the doors are open, is to tap into the dome light wires. I did this when I put light strips on the bottom of my doors, so they only light up when the door is open.

If you wants lights that turn on when the interior lights turn on (night time) then you will want to tap that cubby hole light.

If you need to know wire locations, let me know. I don't remember off hand.
