My Build...
Finally got a rough list together... dunno if anything will change, i need to do more research, and get better knowledge about the car and the engine, but here goes
Alero 3400/3500 Build
4T65HD
Input Shaft – Stock (WST 280 Ft/lb)
Gears – 3.29 FDR
Torque Converter – 2750 Stall
3rd Gear Clutches - ZpaK
Mount PCC – Gunmetal
All Mounts and hardware…
Final Price – $3,864.99 (hooray…..)
Engine Build – (Wottech)
Turbo Exhaust Manifold (made by myself)
Ported Competition Lower Intake Manifold for 3.5L LX9
Metal LX9 LIMG
3400 Competition Upper Intake Manifold, 65M TB Opening
65MM TB, Fully Outfitted
3500 Race/Boost Cylinder Heads
Manley Retainers
Manley Race Valves
Manley Keepers
Comp Cams 26986 Valve Springs
Cometic Headgaskets (.60 Thickness, Bore is Standard)
ARP Rod Stud Kit
Custom Length Pushrods (hardened)
3400 Hypereutectic Pistons
Hypereutectic Piston Ring Set
Double Roller Timing Chain
Possibly going to just run the Performance street Camshaft, but might use the Custom Cam Selector
Final Engine Price – $3877.64
Looking at using the GT30R Turbocharger, but might change.
opinions?

I like it!!!!
but don't forget, hp tuners, afpr, injectors, walboro pump, etc
also better add at least 1 - 2 grand on top of what you think just to cover the little stuff you might overlook and that adds up fast....
you gonna do the ls lifter mod too?

based on your list the only thing I will say is have someone who knows their ish measure for your custom length pushrods once you have your motor together... me and a customer of mine had to find this out the hard way even though we got the cam, pushrods and heads from the same place.

Lesson learned on the pushrod lengths. No excuse, i should have erred on the short side rather than assume the lifters would work with the extra pre load like other's have been able to do. One thing is certain, I learn from my mistakes and I don't pretend to be a machine. To err is human.
Matt, if you have any complaints with how things were handled, please let me know.

Nope, no complaints. I'm very satisfied with how you took care of me.
Who knows - maybe the deck height on my block is wonky?
It's been a learning experience for me.......even though you plan things out as best as you can, there are always little things that sneak up.....it was just one of those things that I didn't expect.
I don't have any ill will towards you or anyone else regarding my project. Just gotta take it all in stride.
