i dont see any wires i can connect, cause they are all multi color and theres no way in knowing anything, so all i can do is run power from the battery, but that means my gauges will perminatly be on.......all the time.........even when the car is off....

I spliced into the wire that controls the cubby-light. The little bulb in the top of the cubby.

It works perfectly, When I lock the doors the guages blink, and when I unlock them, they blink twice. really cool.

It was easy to splice into the line, and feed it up into the back of the guage cluster area.

Hope this helps!

How familiar with automotive wireing are you? If not very much, may want to have someone do it for you.

well my dads doing it with me right now, so im sure he knows more about it than i do, all we need to know is where to splice the cubby wire........cause we dont know where that wire goes, i mean i have my whole gauge cluster and steering wheel taken apart, and i myself dont know the specific cubby wire

uhhhh anyways, i turned the key, and all the little lgihts that say "SES" or "brake" or "oil temp" etc etc. well since these are overlays, they are very uneven with the lettering, was there some sort of trick , in having them even with the overlays!?

these were the slip ons right? and not the stick ons?

try some double sided 3m tape if they are like the one's i've got, it'll help in alignment, it just takes some time to get em on right

i'm assuming you have the wires right too

but if not, take the cluster out, and run the power to the gray wire that runs into the gauge cluster, and ground to somethin like the top left bolt behind the cluster

well i ran the wire to a 10 amp fuse that controlls all the interior lighting, so everything that the interior does the gauges do too. B)
