how can i tell what flowmaster muffler i have?

iv got a flowmaster 3"in, 2.5" x2 out (1 in 2 out). it came off my pickup when i redid the exhaust. all i can find is the paten numbers. i did not buy this muffler so idk waht it is. i was going to be cheap and put it on the alero.

Can you see the part number? Usually around where is says "Flowmaster" on it

If not, do some searching on Flowmaster's web site. I don't think there is too many models like that. It sounds like a 50 series, but don't hold me to that

I know at O'reilly's they've got the same thing and ken is correct it is a 50 series, haven't seen others
