After a few months of waiting for a 5-speed ecotec to show up in my area, I finally got one.
2003 Alero GX
white
2-door
2.2 5-speed
33,000
sunroof
CD player
spoiler
keyless entry
I disabled the reverse/ignition lock one the first day I had it, now I am planning out my mods. First I am getting rid of the stupid drum brakes and swapping on the rear discs. Then I am getting some 16/17" gm wheels from something. Then over the winter, hopefully start collecting parts for a turbo setup. That is if I still have any money left from the other project.
Check out my website, I am in the middle of fabricating a turbo setup for my 92 S10 with a L36(Series 2 3800). Should run 12s easy on low boost.

This site has already given me much information, hopefully I can add to it.

Sorry its not up to your standards, Im doing it myself. V6s are not as simple to turbo as 4-cylinders.
Yes, it should go pretty well once I get it finished. It ran a 14.37@92 NA, so I am expecting to easily drop a second on low boost.
After a few days of having my Alero, I really enjoy driving it. I think it will be a great daily driver. It needs some better handling, but I am blaming that on the 15" rims and tires.

i'm sure it runs fine, it just isnt very pretty
how large is the piping you ran for the intake/exhaust. looks a little restricted.

Well, the exhaust manifold primaries are 1 5/8 into 2", then the 2" pipes from each bank join at the turbo inlet flange. The turbo downpipe will be 3" into a dual 2.5 exhaust. The turbo intake will be 4" with a draw through maf. The turbo discharge will be 2.5" into the intercooler with 3" out of the intercooler into the throttle body. None of the intake piping is in the picture, the engine bay is going to be filled with piping when it is complete. The exhaust manifolds and crossover pipe will be getting jet hot coated.
