jensen crossover
well i found this crossover in my closet...
its a jensen jx2300 2/3 way electronic crossover.
since i dont know much about car audio... would this be a good idea to install in my car... then i could use it to reduce the amount of bass for my front and back speakers and such. i wouldn't use the sub part on the crossover... just front and back

If you have an aftermarket amp for your treble, it is a really good idea to use it because you can balance everything out pretty nicely, and like you said, remove bass, but if you don't have the aftermarket treble amp, it wont really make much of a difference.

In that case, go for it. That way, you can adjust everything you cant on the amp. It should be really useful.

I don't know if I would trust a company that uses this picture on their web page.

I use a crossover for my subs even though my amp has intergrated crossovers. My thinking was that I wanted to filter as much of the audio as possible. Seems to have worked well...I can turn the HU all the way and turn down the bass and only run treble and can't hear anything out of my sub, and that's with the gain up pretty high.
