I used aluminum polish on my headlight lenses on my Talon way back when, and it worked great.

only reason i used 1000 is cuz the rock chips were real deep...there's no way i'll ever get 'em out deep...so i used the 1000 to even it out a lil even tho i'll never see perfect headlights on this car

Haven't done my alero's lenses yet but did my pickup to remove the yellowing. I used Autosol Metal Polish. Worked pretty good. But never removed all the pits. Just wanted them clear again so I could see.

dont use any cleaners on the plastic bezel, the chrome comes real easy.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about removing pits and discoloring / minor scratches from the outside of the headlight lens.. nothing to do with the chromed bezel inside the headlight assembly.

i found out that clear coat polish dosnt work as well as they said it should on fixing the scratches left behind(haze) on the clear part but never dull or rainx works really well abd both repell water but never dull last lots longer(glad i got like 6 cans lying around) at least till you got to scrub the lenses from bugs and such but i dont know about using them together never know may have come up with a new chemical bomb :-p just kidding !!!! i swear i'm kidding javascript :emoticon(':alcoholic:')javascript :emoti con(' ') but any who i should have picts of them tomorrow i gonna wash and wax the car and take some day pictures i cant wait till i can order my led lights for the whole car just remember to keep the old lights in a safe place if the cops are @$$es javascript :emoticon(' ')..
