just put the filter were the stock intake box was. you can also buy the 3400 intake to make a full cai.

red looks nice! i got the blue one. i know how to install i was just wondering where that preformed cosmo sticker went on the pipe. but thank you! your photo helps me alot. i cant wait to install and start using this thing.
also the instructions say i should oil the filter.... should i? i cant really afford a k&n filter right now i have to save what i have but i could get the k&n filter recharger kit. so do i have to oil it or will it be okay for a little while?

i started it because the intake stickers have always caught my eye when looking under a hood. and with every intake ive ever purchased i have had the brand name on. it may be silly/stupid to you guys but to me it was at least worth asking.
now my question is, how the hell do you get the intake to fit properly. as i added photos to my showcase thread i believe, the bracket that ties the intake to the power steering pump is not quite positioned properly. Trying to bend/twist the bracket to fit was only causing it to make strange sounds make small white "cracks" around the weld holding it to the pipe. right now the intake is just sitting there not tied down 100%. until i can figure out how to get it on the right way. so far performance has not been hindered, i would just like it to look a little more professional. (looks like a 16 year old back yard mechanic put it on the car) and this is not my style, I usually do FAR better work.
