this has happened to me too, it did that for like a month or so, and then the svs, and abs lights came on, which means that I have a bad set of wheel bearings. but who knows maybe thats not your problem...

yup. just the sensor or wires tho. mine does the same thing. sometimes just the trac off light comes on for a sec or two. other times, if its worse i guess, all 3 lights come on and the warning chimes. check to see if wires going to the hubs are frayed or getting pinched somewhere.

Well since you live in michigan like me im sure the roads you drive on arent in the best shape. sometimes if i hit a big enough pothole my low trac light will kick on for a sec and then go off. maybe the sensor thinks its loosing traction? idk just something i have been thinking when it happens

Ttop191 - ^ because your car is the only thing that will suck and blow that you can actually successfully get within 25 feet of

My Alero does exactly what you described. I have a feeling it's a problem with the rear-driver sensor or wires though. I did head warning though and asked that my wheel bearing be checked last time it was in the shop, but the guy told me it was fine. He told me the error was coming back as an improper gear ratio?
