Need Everyone's Opinion on Rims...
Hey,
I am about a week or two away from buying rims, and I just wanted everyone's input on what you think about the two choices I have picked out to get. I don't wear my emotions on my sleaves, so please any input you have just say it. If you think they are god awful ugly, then put that, but still put what you would choose out of the two evils lol. I respect everyone's opinion! If you have another idea on what set of rims would look good on my car, then please feel free to give suggestions as well! You can see my car in the Aleromod.com Showcase section, if you haven't seen it. I have had it lowered with sprint springs and kyb-gr2 struts. So it is already lowered, just getting the rims now. If I had a digital camera, I would take pics, but unfortunately I don't right now, so pics will have to wait for a little while longer. Sorry..... anyway.....
All that being said here are the two rims I have chosen so far without breaking huge budget. (planning on getting a set of rims for around $1,500 or less)
#1) Incubus Paranormal
#2) Alba Monaco
So just post your opinions... Thanks for any comments or suggestions even....

you have the same suspension set up as me so Id go with 18-20 inch rims, imo 5 star and 7 star rims looks to best.

personally, I think if someone wants to look like you just threw some chrome on just for the sake of having something chrome, then number one.
for a more serious and purposed look, number two.

I would say the Incubus rims look the best. Those rims kind of remind me of the ones on the red osv prototype. Those rims would look nice with that bronze mist paint job.
By the way thank you 01Alero and MixtapeMessiah for the warm welcome to Aleromod.

id say if you need our input for rims, then your better off not buying rims at all, go with what you like, not what others like

Thanks for the input guys.
I want something unique that not a lot of people have on their cars, and the Incubus rims I think do that.
But then again I also like the sporty looking rims, so the Alba Monaco rims look real good. So im just kinda torn between the two.
Oh another thing I wanted to ask, if by chance, I went with 20"s would I have to do anything special or would I be able to bolt them up and drive. Reason being, Im not sure if i would need spacers or anything other than just the rim/wheel.
Thanks again....

make sure you select the proper offset so that they dont hit your struts or wheel wells, and do your best that you select a tire that is low profile enough to keep the total diameter down to what will fit in those wheel wells.

#2... #1 looks like the ones that you would put on one of those old cutlasses that look rediculous.. i dont like #1 at all.. #2 i think would look the best on an alero.. 18" or 19".. 20" just too big

I know this has probably been gone over on the site before, but what would be the best offset and tire rating for 18"s with my current suspension setup (sprint and kyb) ? I was thinking about going 20"s but it would just be too big IMO.
