hey guys if i wanted to spend at or less than 100 per tire which of these should i go for? it's a daily driver and no track or anything so just plain tires. Tire selection <===click

also if there is something really good but just a few bucks over 100 let me know too. btw i have Sumitomo HTR+ in the back right now should i just stick to them? not many problems even in winter... should i go for something even cheaper?

i personally just got a set of 711s (255/40/17) They are great tires, and mike(sc/alero) had them on his car. Even though it says no snow traction he has never had any problems in the winter. And we live in colorado. IMO the 711s are the best bang for the buck.....

read some reviews and the uhp's seem pretty good, might go with that,

does anyone know what/how a used tire place sell tires? like where does the tires come from? what are the risks?

used tires are from car that had accidents or junked, some of the tires are good only for a short time, i have used them when money was low until i got my new ones, but do not by used performance tires they charge you to much and you wont have any matches!

Although it's over your target price (at $120), The continental ContiExtremeContact is a VERY good tire for the price, it's never failed my dad in any weather condition (the Alero has the original tires on it).. It handles great and has surprising snow traction (even in his V8 RWD car with 245s)
