There is a guy in another forum trying to get rid of his 2.3L HO tb. How much do you think its worth and how much work would go into making it fit our 2.4's? Thanks!

Eric

The only person probably on this whole site that can answer that is Oldsman. Becuase he has a 2.3/2.4 Hybrid.

the 2.3 HO TB are worth around $75

it will work fine on our cars. but use the 2.3 sensors. many have had issues with the 2.4 sensors on the 2.3 TB.

if you are bolting it on the 2.4 manifold you will only use 2 bolts rather than 4 and the bolt holes on the 2.3 are larger so make sure you get it on all lined up and tighten it good.

Awsome. I got it for a steal then. I paid $40 plus $7 for shipping. Waiting to hear back about an Induction Dynamics intake and I should be all set. Gonna have 4 things to install. Crank pulley, intake manifold, TB, and ID intake. What kinda gains you think I'll see from this?

if you're installing it on a 2.3 manifold converted to fit on a 2.4 head no problem..

if you're installing the 2.3 t/b on a 2.4 intake manifold you will have hang ups, but it will work w/ some grinding down of a few bits here and there on the t/b...
