a few questions on the swap

what sensors are used on the new throttle body? are they the ones off your original throttle body?
if not, where can i get some?

also, how does the new throttle body mount to the manifold? is there a special bracket or not? just a couple bolts?

let me know guys.

You can use your 2.4 Idle Air Control sensor, just pull
off the plunger on the 2.3 one, and swap it with the 2.4 one. For your Throttle
Position Sensor, you need to use your 2.4 one, check your position of it on the
2.4, and place it on your 2.3 t/b. You will need to cut one of the mounting ears
off, and drill a new hole in the t/b for the other one. Tap the hole, and mount
the sensor.

im like 3 seconds away from just trading in my car for a 2.4 with a manual, then just do the 2.3 swap and do my own tyurbo system, or hell i would even be happy with the gm supercharger

ok, great. so i don't need the sensors from the 2.3 throttle body. that's good to hear.
also, as fas as mounting the tb to the manifold, what's involved there, and do i need another gasket?

well, i figured it out myself. i guess the throttle body is mounted to the manifold by 2 bolts on opposite corners. as far as the weight of the intake manifold, throttle body, and intake piping, are they all supported by the bolts in the engine? this seems like a good bit of weight on those bolts.
