Sburke: As soon as I finish the testing I posted previously. I want to make sure that these are lightweight, high quality components that can handle multiple applications from racing to jarring bumpy roads. I anticipate testing to be complete and the first bumper be available in approximately 2 weeks. I will make a post in this thread approximately 24 hours prior to the release, then it will be put on ebay and sold to the highest bidder (so save your pesos).

Anything that can potentially reduce weight (Carbon Fiber) and looks clean is good to me.

Update
Update: I've been sick with the flu so we're a little behind on the release, I'm hoping to be feeling better by tomorrow or Wednesday so that we can get the first production bumper finished and out the door to one of you lucky buggers. Watch for the release update, I still plan to release the info 24 hours prior to the very first bumper (in the world) being placed on ebay.

I wonder if this or the group buy one will be done first.

the group buy is a better choice since no other kit will go with this front bumper all that well, he front buper sits lower than the sides and rear by far and there is no side skirts, or rear bumper.
Good idea, bad exacution......
there going to be a bunch of alero's running arround riced out with kitted fronts and stock rest with big park bench wings.........its anarchy.

The group buy will in fact be a better choice if you need a full kit (bumpers and sides) right now. As a start-up company I don't yet have the capabilities of someone like bodykits etc. so they will without a doubt be able to create new components faster than we can.... for a while that is. Don't lose faith in me yet though, I have a long list of components we will be building for the alero in the future so keep an eye on me.

keep doing what your doing powerlifter. At least we're getting updates from this, and you're doing it all on your own dime.

Hey guys, Quick update: We are having a VERY difficult time with our chemicals as the weather changes are so abrupt here, I have 3 bumpers finished and all of them have had problems with the curing cycle due to the sudden drop in temperature over night. I think that we have found a way to correct this problem, I will be working on it all next week, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on why I haven't put the bumpers up for sale yet. I refuse to put out anything that is not done correctly. I will keep you posted. Thank you again for your support.

Yes, we just pulled it out of the mold tonight, we have to clean up the parting lines and finish trimming it out but other than that it looks good. Keep watching this thread I will be posting the 24 hour notice very soon.

not going to reduce weight going to CF from polyurethane. CF is a good move away from sheet metal though.
