tire suggestions?
so for all my other cars I've always put UHP tires on them, and I have a few go to tires that I've really liked and stuck with that provide a good mix of performance and quiet. However, none of the options I have purchased before are available in the 215/60r15 tire size that is on my alero. If it had steel wheels I would just get new wheels, but I like the stock wheels, so don't want to replace them.
So does anybody have a 215/60r15 tire that they've liked, that they've put at least 10k miles on them? my main concern would be noise (the tires I have now have plenty of tread, but they sound like there's a jet engine under my car when I'm driving on the highway), braking performance, and wet performance. I live in AZ, so no snow/ice performance, but when it rains it brings up all the oil and crud on the roads, so they can be pretty slick.
