Fitting in aftermarket radio
the steel bar in the back left where the harness would go blocks the radio from going all the way back. anybody else have trouble with this?

Same boat my alpine HAD a problem but it fits also all the plastic got in the way dremmel can be your friend.

i never had that problem with my screen at all it went in nice an smooth with no problems, but now that im going to get a DD idk i might have problems but im not sure as of yet

Just make sure to make a clean cut close to the round bar and file the sharp stuff off BOTH cut ends. After the picture I put a ton of tape on it so it wouldnt cut into wires.

Follow Ryan's example, that way you can get the harness in well, but you still get some support from that metal piece.

In hindsight I should of cut that lower section out also. I think I busted my last dremel cut off disk so I stopped.

just painted red radio bezel and shift bezel. it looks like the lights are red but its just a crappy cell phone picture. but the radio face has red lights and a blue screen.
