I just got the new motor put in and everything runs great. It's just that when i stop off at a gas station or something and leave the engine running, when i get back to the car, the engine is constantly revving up and down. I got a 30-day warranty on this thing. Is it worth checking out or should I be optimistic and just wait for it to fix itself

Get it checked out. It sounds like a sensor or something is not right. Do you have a SES light? BTW..Why did you need a new motor?

If you have a warranty, get it checked out. It's a no brainer. If something does develop later you'll be covered because you brought it in under warranty.

Sounds like the Throttle Position Sensor to me. My rx-7 did the exact same thing, until I replaced the TPS.

Well, the reason i posted here was because I wanted to go back to the mechanic with a good frame of mind of what was wrong, instead getting hit with "Well, your RAMROD needs to be replaced and your FLUX CAPACITOR isn't fluxxing to it's full capacity". Thanx for the insight, guys.
