LD9 tune-up
Except the fuel filter...oh and I changed the coil pack housing (the white plastic thing) but forgot to take a pic of it.

All this for my girls alero:
Oil and oil filter change synthetic, 7 qrts tranny change not including torque converter, tranny filter, Bosh platinum spark plugs, new coil ignition housing, leveled out power steering, and air filter change. Guess how she payed me for the labor!
Now the car runs great, she said it would hesitate win she would step on it to pass up cars and speed up to get on the highway, now it runs SMOOTH!!

somewhat related...
can someone post up a relative how-to, for a basic tune up? (the kinda stuff they do if you walked into a mech shop and asked for one)
looks nice too. but i bet the reward was better then the work.

nooooo! not the bosch platinum! from my experience, in a few months your car runs like crap. It would have been better to get delco's, the stock ones for our cars are platinum anyways.
other than that, wanna come and do all that to my car? almost 110,000 and i really wanna do a full serivce like that.

^only if you give him the same method of payment....
and what he did was the same as any IT department. Do an upgrade, make sure you use temporary parts, so you get to redo the job later, and get paid again. lol

I was gonna do a how to version of it with explainations thus why I took pics, put I was tired and I had to go to work this morning @ 8 so I just posted them up. I wanted it to be sticky for us LD9 individuals but I guess it wont but I'll see if I can list a how to.

Autozone part # TF190-$21.99 (comes with new gasket although GM says the original one is reusable)
O'Reilly part # 745158-$15.99 (does not come with new gasket)
