LED Dome Light

just got a 10 LED replacement bulb for my Dome light.

It works, but the only problem is, the first 4 LEDs stay on ALL the time, not full strength, but they glow. they turn off when I switch it to OFF, but when it is switched to DOOR, they stay on.

my buddies Cav did the same thing when he wired 4 LEDs up to his Dome light, they ended up not working anymore after a month.
Just wanna know if this has happened to anyone else, and if there is a way to fix it?

i dont know if its happened to anyone else..but my dome light stays on ALL the time when its on door..even when the effers been OFF and had the door shut for 20mins. pisses me off :\

My dome light doesn't do that, however, the two LEDs under the dash glow a little bit when all the other lights are off on that circuit. Not sure how to fix it though.......

You gotta realize it only takes 20mA to power them at full power...

I have 12 LEDs in place of my dome light and the front 4 have a very slight glow to them when its on "door". Its just the residual power held in the wire... if the grounding on our cars was perfect, this wouldn't be a problem. Also, your never gonna notice that w/ the halogen that was in there from the factory... not enough power to make that thing glow at all.

I HAVE the grounding upgrade, just haven't had the weather or the time to install it yet. I'll let ya know if it makes a difference. I don't think it will... so just stop whinning and deal with it.
