You are better off with the Monroe quick struts. I hear that the Raybestos and Moog strut assemblies use crap struts from China.

You would still need to take the spring off the old strut with the Monroe Quick Struts right?

No! they come completely assembled with the spring already in them. Thye look like this:



All you need to do is jack up the car enough then unbolt the old one and bolt in the new one.

I do not recommend reusing strut mounts, or this could happen (eventually):
