will these rims fit?

After some searching of the forum, there was too many conflicting answers so I was left unsure. So I would like to know for certain if these rims will fit an unmodified Alero without sticking out or inappropriately touching something.

Rim Width: 8.5J
Rim Diameter: 18 inches
Offset: 42
Studs: 5x112

No. Wrong lug pattern; to wide for that offset.

Thanks for the replies!
I might get a set that is like this instead:

Rim Width: 8.5J
Rim Diameter: 18 inches
Offset: 35
Studs: 5x114

Im worried that the offset + the width of 8.5 will cause problems.

true. with the wider wheels, you want to go with the higher end of the offset range...just to be safe.

just for reference, my 17x8 wheels fit perfect, and they have a +32 offset.....

Ah well! I bought some other rims after all. They should fit snugly!
18" 114, 42 offset

Thanks for the advice!
