my buddy put a V-8 in and Alero, but that was used to race. he had to gut it, put roll bars and stuff in it and turned it into a police car race car. then totaled it in a race and sold it.

you mean that this white and pink Alero was the 442 Alero?!

Even if it was a huge beast, the color choice is fugly imo. And what to say about that monster shopping kart handle on the trunk...

The only what your going to make a RWD Alero is to drop the body on an S-10 frame. You put enough power in that thing without doing that, it WILL rip the car in half.

It can be done, but the price tag it large. If you going to do it, I'd drop the 3.8 SC V6, (sorry I mean SBC ) in there. It will fit, and the aftermarket for the 3800 motor is still pretty strong

No actually they scrapped the car in late 2004 like Oldsman said. The Intrigue 442 still exists though.

You know even in 07 naich u keep holding the BS from yrs ago. Come on grow up.. THis is y i left yrs ago.
I was done with this site sometime ago but i thought i would come back to drop pics of my undertaking...
MY handle/ site name is Aleromi or Aleromi99 at one time..

Now its A57 and i'm doing a V8 coverstion to my car .. And to most of u YOU DONT NEED A S10 frame...

THE G57(aka bettyracer) is not on any frame but the stock un-body ...

What i'm doing is a kit RWD coversion that *** is selling ...I'm doing it all my self.
I though it would be nice to let some of the modder on here see what else can be done.. with a Gen x hotrod..
3800 is nice but V8 in my book is better.. and cheaper..

TO peeps that think that the alero cant handle this streetrod style RWD V8 it will... just ask me and i'll tell u what involed with this the best i can.
For that Alero peeps that are on *** ck out the site on my posted..
Also for the one's not Google me Im on yahoo,cardomain...
I will posted pics as i can..
I hope this dosent get deleted..

you guys must be easily impressed is all I can say. so you go ahead and put a v8 in it, spend a good 25K plus on the main stuff and who knows how much on the rest. probably put down a good 10 or 11 seconds and everyone can just be mind-blown on what you can do with ANY car if you put a v8 in it. wow

Well I'm not here to impress u or any one..

Just cam back to show that it can be done .. ( for less than 25k) (THAT's doing it ur self)...

No sweet off my balls if u care or anyone else for that matter..

But ur missing the point THERE ARE BUT 3 V8 N-bodys in the world...

So sit back and one day at a car show u will see and drool just like the rest do.

I'm going out to the garage to make my Alero different ...
