^^ It's cool.

He's pissed becuase of the money he spent, he should be rinning in the high 13's, not the high 14's to low 15's. I'd be pissed too

Partially true. The S/C will make power at low end quicker. The turbo will reach PEAK boost quicker. The turbo produces more heat on the outside, the S/C produces more heat on the inside, and is harder to intercool, not to mention it's another HP-sapping drag on the rotational mass.

It's a rediculous price for what you get vs. twice the power or more on a stock engine with a turbo slapped on it.

Turbos also need heat to work, look up turbine theory for a more in depth explaination.

Is he back in buisness? I haven't heard anything good bout dealing with him, ever.

agreed on both counts.

im gonna have to agree and say that 14's are not fast and not something to go around bragging about in every forum and youtube video ive seen

14's are peppy at best, 13's are quick, i suppose low low 13's could be considered fast...

For what most people consider a grocery getter I think 14s are pretty good.

I agree 100%. Around 13 flat to high 12's is decently fast.

That's ok, most people running 15 or slower usually say that.

I don't consider something to be "fast" unless you have to worry about whether or not to put a bar or cage in it.

yeah, thats why i said could be considered fast.

my car does mid 13's and i think its quick, but i dont consider it fast. i drove a my work car (93 civic) for a few months without driving my buick and i thought the buick was fast for a couple days :P

14's stopped being quick when just about every new vehicle started doing at least 14's with the bigger engine. even minivans are getting capable of that stock now. SUV's....your sport compacts are hitting low 14's and even high high 13's stock.

i dont think 14's have been fast since the 80's

Personally if I still had my old alero I would still go turbo as opposed to n/a or supercharged... I own an 02 wrx boosting at 18.6 psi right now... had to get rid of the mustang because some serious problems came up and I really didn't want to deal with them... but anyways. you can get all the driveability from a n/a car while out of boost and it's like a whole different car while in boost, it's completely ridiculous. My car for instance out of boost probably doesn't put out much more than 130 hp but once that you hit boost it's like... la la la la la OH eff!!!

if you were going to be drag racing, turbo FTW if you were going to be road racing however I would personally go supercharged because I think it'd be a bit easier to manage in the turns

superchargers are great too (more of a sleeper style) but u got a think about it too.. it also costs money to tune it..and one more thing the belt might need to be repaired and ya.. but personally i would go with the turbo XD ..i got one on my rx-7 (modded not the stock turbo) lol.. just go with the turbo
