If your using the gaskets you have pictured above then your using the worlds worst gaskets. As ryan stated "I hope you dont intend on installing those SHIT LIMG's into that motor!
Thats almost a damned crime!"
You have been on Aleromod enough to know the plastic gaskets are junk and you just wasted money.

Nate just got pimp slapped by stupidity.
I hope he pulls through with the proper gaskets. Buying a set with the shitty LIMG was silly though. Just the plastic ones run like $50ish... Im sure that cost was included in that kit...

Fel-pro has the best you can buy depending on the application, there maybe others sold at different auto parts store's...
I used the LIM kit from felpro and i didn't have any issue's...

My buddy did that on a GP 3100 engine... nothing but troubles with the pushrods.
The ones that were sent were too short ( sounded like a damn diesel, LOL!), and the stock ones... although they SEEMED to be just a hair longer, ended up bending for something..
What a pain :S
At least your is working.. so far, aside from gasket troubles.

huh? They are the same pushrods from 1994 to 2006. Only way they are wrong is if they are installed wrong.

Should have an O ring in there with a quick disconnect setup. You can't seal metal to metal easily without one.
