Yes please close this thread because after 3 effing pages you'd think he'd get it. If you have a cop with you and you mess up he'll die. Good job your on a open road but you still have someone with you. You think bambi is your only problem? Friend of mine was driving normal on highway and guy jumped out in front of her so he could kill himself. When you get in your car are you thinking of what to do in that situation cause she sure as hell never expected that. By the way hptuners isn't the only way to remove your limiter but I'm not the one who will tell you. But might as well search for it and while your searching look up this

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...n+hig hspeed+

The third link involves a Grand Am, among your search quest you'll learn it's basically the same car as an Alero. Also your mad because everyone is seemingly being a d*ck about this. I just want you to know I am making sure I'm being a d*ck about this so we have that cleared up. No matter how many cops are watching or how empty the road seems to be something unexpected can happen. Though hopefully something will get to your head about this or you can do it legally and safely at a track or closed off road meant for this type of thing. Then we can all be friends again and help you with your modding and other Alero needs.

***side note spent 10 minutes typing this so scratch the legal issue, but it's still dumb***

Just cause it's legal doesn't mean it's smart.

oh for cryin out loud can we drop this stupid shit already.

1. Kyle, please get with the other mods/admins and discuss the idea changing the wording in the "rules" to include specifically discussion of exceeding the speed limit on a public road. That implies that we condone breaking the law.

2. Cops "calling the road clear" for you for something other than an emergency tells me that they are abusing their position of authority and they should also be chastised for doing the wrong thing and letting you do it.

3. Drop this stupid shit once and for all, and somebody please lock this thread??

do yourself a favor, since you like speed. Take a class on basic physics. Hitting bambie at that speed... would destroy the car, and your face... probably upper body too.

Dear beloved alermod member,

Does anyone here actually believe that an Ohio State Trooper would jeopardize his job and clear a State Highway just so some punk assed, half wit 19 year old maggot in a subcompact midsized 2 door daily driver can test his cars top speed? If you do, please follow this 5 step handy guide to enlightenment.

1. Go to local hardware store buy 3 feet of 3/8" thick nylon rope.
2. Locate a sturdy fixed horizontally mounted support at least 10 feet of the ground.
3. Stand on chair to elevate you high enough to access the support.
4. Tie one end of rope around support, the other end around your neck using a knot as demonstrated below in attachment A.
5. Kick chair on its side thus suspending you off the ground.

Also if you believe this guy has ever sat in the drivers seat of any F-body please refer to the enlightenment guide. Thank You!

Sincerely,
Rob (From Ohio)

PS I am sure this guy just resides in Ohio, he's probably originally from Kentucky,Virginia or West Virginia.

I can't believe this went on as long as it did.

All the Aleromod "oldheads" know that this is a serious no-no
