What type / size bulb is the dome light in a '99?
Wanting to get an LED, but unsure of the size.
Also, how do these "festoon" bulbs stay in? The ones with just points on the end.

look for the ones that are labeled "Rigid Loop Festoon bulb"

That's the one I was looking at, just didn't know if had a certain size.

I'm not sure how the dome light is in the 99 but my dome light is blue in my 2000 easy just buy here :

That doesn't help, most sites list the dimensions for domelights, not I'D.

Buy one from Oznium, I don't know what size it is but I know they have an adapter that fits into that socket. It's an easy 5 minute install, but I recommend the flexible style dome light, as I got the small rigid and it's a really tight fit.

Yes, that's what I said and did. Oznium is a great company if you buy any dome light they give you like 6-7 common size dummy bulbs that connect to the LED to fit in your size. So with them giving you all the dummy bulbs you are more than likely to find one that will fit.
