Sway bars look like a PITA to swap, especially the front one. I've red that the rear one can be done, but if you want my opinion, after some examination when we did my fuel filter last spring, it doesnt look like its an easy one afternoon job. I may be wrong though lol.
For the F3, if you dont have a GLS I think you cant have the F3. Since you have a 2.4L, I'm gonna assume you dont have a F3.

The rear is easy. There are two holders for the bushings on there already. Once you get under the car and look at it you will see. It is pretty easy.

I'd just stick with the rear bar. The front one you have to drop the front subframe to install. Besides, the Alero being a FWD car will tend to understeer through hard corners. Using just the larger rear bar will take away some of the understeer and make it a more neutral handing car.

My rear only setup actually oversteers a tad if you cut hard into the turn at the apex. I would like to try a set up with both but I am happy with just the rear.

Does your car have FE3 or just FE2?

No idea, It is an 01 GLS so I would assume FE3.

Well I put in my sway bars this weekend and you know what it was pretty easy almost to easy....the hardest part was getting the bushing cover over the bushings and into postion...and i though connecting the endlink was hard until the guy at the shop brought a lift over to push up on the tires after that it was all cake
I will say though the sway bar is AWESOME....i know it dont handle like a corvetted or viper...but the hands reall damn good know...once again im blown away by my ho...the awesome handling makes me want to get the front ones even thought they are a PIA...but to sum it up this is a mod i strongly recommend...
