Hahahah well it's a good way to save up man, save from monthly payments for a new car. I'm actually gonna get another car for my fiancée so I'm gonna pay the car for her and have mine. So I'm Gucci.

I might get rid of my alero for another alero but I don't know about switching away from them no matter if I had the money to switch or not

I been lucky for my car cause it's been a really good car. That's why I want to work on it to keep it forever. I want to keep the stock look on it, but the manual trans swap sounds sweet man. I can't decide if I should. I need the proper people to do it.

I know the feeling of love for these cars... i have not been as lucky as some in regards to reliability, but at the same time i do not see myself getting away from my aleros... i currently have 3 of them... one is a total project car working towards show car status one day the second is my daily driver and unfortunately the third has been banished to parts car due to a rotten under side... i have had 2 of the 3 motor options and both automatic and manual... either way these cars are fun to drive and if the modding bugs hit you they become even more fun to drive!!!

Last June was the last ASS...there is a sub-section dedicated to it under the section alero chapter of the oca...Due to it being a lot of work for the low number of people in attendance the event was retired...It was a lot of fun there are still going to be gatherings but not an event organized in the way that was

not everyone... usually only 5-10 people can make the trip... this is why ASS has been cancelled... I have been arranging local meets in Canada for the past couple years, we generally have between 2-10 people show up... there has been some discussions about having a meet next summer close to the Canada/US border to entice more members to show up from both sides...

I think time will show the people that really are serious about keeping their aleros. Right now it's still fresh most aleros are 13 years old or younger but you will start seeing them as classic when they are 20+ years old. That's when you see serious people working on their cars to restore them.
