both idler pulleys changed style?

bought 2 new delco idler pulleys. they are different from the factory ones. still delco but the dust cap changed and idk what to do the old dust cap had the bolt built into it the new ones dont so when i bolt these on they dont spin straight they have a shimmy in them and that seems to be causing a very slight rattling. i double checked the dealer confirms thats the correct pulley but it makes no sense to me anyone run into this anyone changed their factory with the replacement delcos how did you get them to fit and spin correctly?

your suppose to reuse the old bolts. They tap out of the old pulley. I change my idler pulley's the same time i change my belt at 50k.

ok on yours you could use the old bolt for the new pulleys? see on the new pulleys the dustcap wouldnt fit because it was like a bolt attatched to a circular plate if you will which sits nicely in the old pulleys but does not sit whatsoever in the new ones if that makes sense?

this might help this is the new design if u look closely the old bolt/cap wouldnt fit on it?

is the pulley itself worn? if not, reuse the old pulley with the new bearing

It shouldn't be that hard, I've used junkyard idlers from Ford, and off other GM's, too (to get increased diameter idlers for pulley swaps). You can remove the large diameter retaining washer from the threaded part of the bolt if needed.....
