Yes there is a "seam"
It's kinda hard to notice where it is. There isa seam over above the fog light switch, but it's tucked away in the corner of the dash, it's hard to see. The only two spots where it's really noticealbe, and you have to look for it, is on either side of the radio bezel

did you get your vinyl matched? or did you just order a certain color and hope it matched? if so, what color?

No it comes color matched from the guy already.
A lot of companies on eBay don't match but this guy does
