If none of you guys have put snow tires on your car for the winter I suggest you try it. It's good stuff if you have the 3.4L I put a set of snows on the front of my GF's car for the winter on here stock rims, and left the stock rims and tires on the back. The car goe's hella good in the snow, and you can do awesome drifts if you want to.

^I'm his "GF," for those of you not in the know.
Snow tires are sweet. They were really sweet whining all the damn way home in the rain.
But really, when it's snowy, my car is a damn tank. I'm ground-clearance limited when it comes to fording snow.
I can do better drifts than he can. :P

Do you two lovebirds mean the snow tires with the traction control, or the snow tires with the spikes or chains. I'm more thinking the traction control ones because arent' the spike/chain tires illegal in most states?

Yeah chains and spikes are illegal in some states, you can use cables just about anywhere though.

Some parts of the highways up here in Canandandandandnandandana through the mountains have specific "chain up" areas. The coolest thing by far is the artillery stands. There are these big concrete things set up, and the military comes in (yes.. we do have a military. I think this is their only purpose though) and blasts the mountain sides with some big ass shells to cause avalanches while the road is closed.

lol.

Yeah, chains/studs, etc, are pretty illegal here in MI. Mine are Cooper Weathermasters or something equally retarded-sounding, but they work really well. Just throws snow out of the tread. Good thing I have those splash guards, too.

Are your stock wheels 15's or 16's? I have my snows on the stock 15's, no need for steelies.
