Air Ride

Well...
I've been thinking about moding my Alero and I've come to the conclusion that I really want to look into Air Ride Suspension setup few questions I don't know much about air ride besides the fact you have bags and you have cylinders and thats about it lol...
How much money for a good setup?
Who has it on their cars? If so how do they like it for ane everyday driver?
Is it high maintenance?

If I get Air ride or "Bag" my ho I'm going to shave my door handles and trim get my grandam mirrors get her repainted she'll be slick...

A decent kit (cheapest i've found that is good quality) will run like $2000 (from rick at fmk), that would set you up with 1/2" lift valves and 3/8" dumps (ASCO brand). But you are then lookin at at least $200 bucks in fittings to plumb the system and if you get a second compressor you will most likely have to rework your electrical a little bit. So your sitting somewhere around $2500. Don't go cheap, you'll regret it when you have to fix it 2 months in. As far as daily driver I have a bagged coupe that I drive a lot and it rides o.k., not nearly as nice as stock. But then again when you pull up to a stop light and lay it on the ground you get way more attention than when stock

rick at FMK's kit comes with all 1/2'' valves and also comes with dual compressors, the kit was $1999 when i bought it, but i also spent like $200 in fittings after that, but i bought cheap ones and had to replace them later on, spending around another $300, dont go cheap in the begining or you will regret it. and also, yes, the ride is much stiffer then stock but handles even better then coil overs without having that shitty of a ride
