i have the sprint springs on mine, id say its a good 2" drop all around...practically eliminates body roll.

Springtech gives the best drop and the best performance enhancement. Go with these if you want to sacrifice the smooth ride. Otherwise, go with the Eibachs. I had these on my GA and the car ride just like stock. Eibachs for comfort, Springtech for looks.

I don't know that this is fact. I'd like to see some side by side comparisons. I have Intrax, and they look just as low as ST or Sprint springs. Also, my ride feels great to me. Still smooth but with less body roll.

agreed, I have ridden in an alero with Eibach and I had Intrax. I found the Intrax rode better. and dropped more. Mine settled to about 2" of drop.

looks like i will be going with intrax. thanks for your input. also, i plan on getting 18" rims. how much room will be left for the car to be lowered? i would measure myself, but since i am on the other side of the world i can't.

How is the camber after a spring drop? My Alero is a daily driver and I can' have too much negative camber. If it is somewhat bad, is there a camber kit to even it out, or some little trick? I think it was on this board, but someone was making a ghetto-fab plate to correct the camber at the top of the struts. All the same, TIA.

with the drops that are done with the spirngs you dont really have to worry about camber problems

are those coil-overs still being made because i was watching those ugly brothers on supertuner TV on spike tv and they did a whole thing on coilovers. really made my interest for them increase. adjustable ride height would be really nice.

yeah, with lowering springs, you don't really need to worry about camber problems, but with coilovers, I would definately get a camber kit. I have 18x8 rims with 235/40/18 tires, and it is pretty close to rubbing, but it never does. I would imagine if I moved up to 245 in the front, it would rub. You can probably do 245 in the rear but stick with 235 in the front.

coilovers arent being made anymore for our cars.

as for the camber...... after u change ur springs u should take ur car to get an alignment anyways...... and any good shop will beable to correct hte camber back to within stock specs.

i have kyb struts, intrax and 18inch rims. all the specs for camber and whatnot were corrected within factory tolerances.
